We built the company we kept wishing existed.

Averlyn Tech started with a frustration anyone who has run IT for a growing chain will recognize.
Our founders spent years watching the same thing go wrong. A company would hire one vendor for Ontario, another for the West, someone else for the Maritimes — and end up with locations that didn't match, documentation nobody could find, and no single person who could say why a site was wired the way it was. The IT director spent more time chasing contractors than running technology.
The talent was never the problem. There are great cabling crews and network engineers in every major city. What was missing was one company willing to own the whole thing — and to show up in the places where nobody else would.
So we built it. Today Averlyn Tech deploys and supports IT for multi-location businesses in every province and territory, from our head office in Toronto — retail chains, restaurants, clinics, banks, and enterprises where every location needs to work the same way. We run the rollouts, the networks, the cabling, and the day-to-day support, all under one roof.
We're still built around the idea we started with: you should be able to call one number about any site you run, and get an answer.
Our mission
To make geography irrelevant to the quality of a company's IT — so that a business operating in forty Canadian markets gets the same standard of infrastructure and support in all forty.
Three things, and we're serious about all of them.
01
National reach, not national marketing
Plenty of companies claim national coverage and deliver it by subcontracting to whoever answers the phone in that market. We maintain our own field capability across the country, with technicians we've credentialed, working to standards we wrote. When we say we can be in Victoria and St. John's the same week, that's an operational statement, not a sales one — and it includes the markets that make other vendors quote a travel premium and a three-week lead time.
02
Single-vendor accountability
Every location in your portfolio sits under one contract, one project manager, and one escalation path. There's no gap between vendors for a problem to fall into, and no meeting where two contractors explain that it's the other one's scope. If something at any of your sites isn't right, it's ours to fix.
03
Licensed technicians, deployed anywhere
Our field teams are background-checked, credentialed, and trained on your specific site standard before they're dispatched — and they work under the correct provincial licensing wherever the site happens to be. They show up with your documentation, your equipment list, and your labelling scheme, which is why a technician who has never been to one of your locations can still build it correctly the first time.
Ten provinces. Three territories. One standard.
We deploy and support in every province and territory in the country, including the markets where finding a qualified low-voltage or network contractor is genuinely difficult — Northern Ontario, the Prairies outside the major centres, rural Atlantic Canada, and the North. Coverage isn't a map graphic for us. It's the reason clients consolidate their footprint with us in the first place.
The way we'd want to be worked with.
We tell you when a date is at risk. Early, in writing, with what we're doing about it — not on the day it slips.
We document as we go. Test results, as-builts, and asset records are produced during the work, not reconstructed at the end.
We say no when we should. If a scope, a timeline, or an approach isn't going to work, you'll hear it from us before you commit to it.
We stay after the install. The organization that built your sites is the one supporting them, which means nobody has to be brought up to speed.
Let's talk about your footprint.
Whether you're opening locations next quarter or trying to get an inherited network under control, the conversation starts the same way — tell us where your sites are and what's not working.
